SalaryCedar Creek Lodges at Thunderbird Park is situated on a 347-acre rainforest property on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland. As a thriving (and growing) business, we are looking for an extraordinary person to join our busy wedding team.
We are an award-winning wedding venue and host over 210 weddings a year. We have multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception venues as well as onsite accommodation.
About the role:
- Answering email, phone and walk-in inquiries
- Client liaison and site inspections
- Preparing quotes and client follow ups
- Meeting with wedding couples to discuss and plan their wedding day
- Prepare clear and concise run sheets, set up sheets and invoices
- Communication of event details to the Executive Chef, Wedding Supervisor and Food and Beverage staff to ensure a smooth event
- Liaising with suppliers in regard to timeline and bump in/out times
- On the day coordination
- Updating social media pages
- Provide occasional operational support
About you:
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Professionalism in all dealings with clients
- Excellent writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Highly organized and motivated
- Accurate time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Outstanding personality
- Food and beverage experience advantageous
- Sales background is an advantage
- RSA is required
This is a full time position and weekend work will be required.
