Wine Sales Consultant – Hybrid

Careerlink People Solutions have partnered with Treasury and Wine Estates, a global winemaking and distribution brand, to seek energetic sales enthusiasts for a number of temporary Sales Consultant positions.
Passionate about providing exceptional service on each & every call, our clients are committed to providing ongoing training and support to their staff.
The Role
We are looking for passionate, energetic self-starters who have the ability to work under minimal supervision and who aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and talk to people. You must enjoy talking about wine and thrive working in a high-paced work environment.
You must be able to respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations. You will also have demonstrated skills in taking initiative, prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.
These roles are being offered on a temporary, full-time basis and have the flexibility to be remote working, hybrid or office based, depending on your location.
Key Responsibilities
This is a Business to Consumer role that will work across the entire product portfolio, applying a tailored approach to grow profit and category.
Using warm leads provided from a number of sources, you will confidently liaise with customers, converting a potential sale into an actual sale, time and time again.
Maximise sales opportunities with existing and new consumers by completing campaigns in full and on time
Ensure effective and timely communication, both written and verbal, with stakeholders
Utilise CRM within guidelines and process requirements
Achieve budgeted sales and volume targets
Translate relevant consumer activity into actionable activities and growth and analyse for future opportunities
Skills and Experience
You will have considerable experience dealing with various types of customers
Ideally, you will have exposure to sales, which could be direct to consumers in terms of retail or hospitality, or in business sales
Strong communication skills
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workload
Focus on customer centricity
Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook and Word
Sales and negotiation experience will be highly regarded
Proven high level customer service/sales experience, preferably within a contact centre environment
Outbound calling experience is highly desirable
Willingness to conduct outbound calls
Experience working towards KPIs and sales targets
Ability to navigate through challenging customer interactions
Eagerness to contribute to a positive team culture
Key Requirements
