POLLY FARMER FOUNDATION is one of WA's most respected education support providers, and we have a vibrant story to tell! For over 25 years, we have provided education support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.Behind those services is our fantastic team of employees, and we need someone like you to help grow and shape the POLLY FARMER FOUNDATION. Our staff are vital to the POLLY FARMER FOUNDATION, providing much-needed care and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.The role will be for a 3-month contract with a view to a permanent part-time working 5-day fortnight.

Qualifications & experience

• Extensive XERO experience
• Previous end-to-end payroll experience in XERO (Minimum 3yrs)
• Tech-savvy with a natural curiosity for process improvements and learning new systems promptly
• A high level of attention to detail, strong organisation, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a changing, fast-paced environment.
• You’re a people person have good customer service skills and can build relationships both within the organisation and externally.

Tasks & responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of payroll
• Processing increases and calculation of back pay
• Liaising with staff and management on payroll-related queries
• Interpreting awards/ agreements and contracts
• Calculation and processing of termination payments at the end of contracts
• Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions
• Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
• Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance systems
