Specific Freight is an Australian owned International Freight Forwarder looking for an Admin Assistant to join our tight-knit team at our Derrimut 3PL facility.
This role will initially be a maternity leave contract of 6-12 months, but will have potential opportunity to become permanent, or transition to fill other administrative / operational roles at our Tullamarine Head Office.
This is an entry level, full time position, available for immediate start. Ideally suited to someone who has recently completed their VCE and looking to commence a career in the dynamic International Freight Forwarding Industry.

Hours will be Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch, and there is plenty of parking on site. A valid Driver’s Licence is required.
This role is an admin support/ assistant role for our 3PL Management and Warehouse team with main responsibilities of the role as below/ but not limited to;
- Data entry using our internal warehouse software system
- Generating product codes, receiving customer orders with data entry of the same
- Communication & preparation of bookings with various transport providers
- Communication with customers, internal staff & transport providers
- Cost entering & billing/ basic accounting functions
- Answering & making telephone calls, action emails, general office/ admin duties
