About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be integral to our team, leveraging extensive experience in financial due diligence, risk assessment, tax planning, and strategic financial consulting to support our diverse client base. This role demands a proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker who can navigate complex financial landscapes to drive business success.

The Job:

• Prepare tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
• Manage customer relationships
• Prepare and lodge business activity statements
• Provide management reporting and bookkeeping services as required
• Employ financial analysis to aid in business restructuring, expansion, or strategic planning.
• General admin and office work

Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised, and meet deadlines under pressure
• Excellent workflow & time management skills
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work well with staff members, result driven and have a high attention to detail
• Liaise with clients, the ATO and other government bodies

Ideally you will have/be

Applicants for this position will need to be energetic, have excellent communication skills, be willing to learn and be able to work within a team.  Prior accounting experience is required, and the commencing salary package will depend on your experience and qualifications. Full time and Part Time options are available.
