Traffic-zone Pty Ltd is offering an opportunity for the role of a full-time Accountant. This position assumes responsibility for providing support across the spectrum of financial and commercial facets integral to the group business.

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing financial reports, cost management and other financial reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders.
· Preparing of group budgets, forecasts and cash flow statements to support effective decision-making.
· Consolidate financial data for the group business to present a comprehensive view of the group’s financial performance.
· Capture and substantiate operational data for management reporting and analysis of business performance by examining operating costs and organisation’s income and expense.
· Prepare and manage timely lodgement of BAS statements
· Manage and executing compliance requirements including but not limited to BAS, tax returns, payroll, superannuation and other regulatory obligations
· Provide advice on investment and tax planning
· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing accounting information
· Utilise accounting software and tools to record, analyse, and report financial data accurately and efficiently.
· Ensure strict adherence to company policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
· Liaison with financial institutions and other regulatory bodies when required
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- A minimum of three years relevant experience in accounting or a similar role. (Australian work experience preferred)
- Ability to work with MYOB software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills
- Continuous improvement approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly developed computer skills including Microsoft Excel (intermediate to Advanced).
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
