Accounts Administrator – Full-time
Sanzone Retail Group (SRG) is a family owned and operated business in the fuel industry, servicing seven petrol stations and three carwashes around the metropolitan Perth.
SRG are seeking an energetic, bright and friendly personality. Be self-motivated, experienced, committed worker to join our accounts administration team. This full-time position is located at our head office in Balcatta.
The successful applicant must be able to multitask, handle periods of a high paced work load, think independently and follow-through, be self-sufficient, proactive, have a good eye for detail and be able to work collaboratively within a long established team.
You will work closely in a job shared role together with an Accounts Administrator and Manager as well as managers of all sites and Directors assisting and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Accounts Department.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
Proactively working together as a team with fellow Accounts team members
Liaising with Directors, Site Managers, and Carwash Managers
Answering telephone calls and attending to emails
Data entry and reconciliation of accounts
Processing of invoices both accounts payable and accounts receivable
Filing and general office administration
Liaising with debtors and suppliers
Reconciling and processing payments of weekly and monthly suppliers
Cashbook reconciliation
Payroll – Time & Attendance (Bundy) & Attache
Wages processing
New Employee induction
Superannuation payment transfer
Payroll Tax preparation & lodgement
BAS preparation & lodgement
End of Financial Year reporting
The successfully applicant must meet the following criteria;
It is preferable that the applicant has accounting and administration experience
Be proficient with Microsoft Office software in particular Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a shared role capacity together with others and also independently.
A proactive “can do” spirit and ability to take on ad hoc tasks periodically
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and enthusiasm to improve processes where possible
Friendly customer service skills
Attention to detail
