Our client is a locally owned and operated tiling company, servicing the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region. The company places great value on its people and the team environment it has created. The company is seeking a full-time Accounts Officer.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Processing of accounts receivable invoices
- Support for accounts payable processing
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Preparation of weekly supplier payments
- Payroll processing
- Payroll Tax Calculation and lodgement
- Monthly IAS & BAS lodgements
- Assistance with job cost reports and inventory management
- Monthly journal entries
- Preparation of draft financial reports for management review
- General administration duties
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum of Cert IV in Finance or Accounting
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Advanced skills in MYOB
- Experience with ClearTile software will be highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage work within agreed standards and timelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve
