About you:
5 + years experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred
Certificate 4 in Bookkeeping or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience with accounting software such as Xero (preferred) or MYOB
Experience working in an IT company/MSP highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of Australian tax regulations and accounting principles
Experience in Accounts Payable
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail

Matching, batching and coding of invoices
Processing a high volume of invoices weekly
Liaising with key decision makers across the business
Dealing with queries via phone and email
Processing credit card expenses
Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies
Managing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
Communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
Assisting with month-end closing activities
Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
