The Role

The Accounts Payable Clerk is charged with the processing of invoices for payment (data entry) received in both the AP email inbox or automated invoicing platform, payment and reconciliations.

Key Accountabilities

• Adhere to all deadlines set by management and policies
• Follow delegated authority principles involving payment runs
• Respond to all internal and external email enquiries
• Ensure that all data entry and payment are accurate
• Learn about and adhere to all company policies
• Follow the law and all reasonable company instructions and directives
• Perform other duties reasonably directed by the company

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Valid Working With Childrens Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

• Experience in dealing with suppliers
• Accuracy and high attention to detail
• Understanding of supplier reconciliations
• Prior payment run experience in a high-volume environment
• Knowledge of General Ledger coding principles
• Previous data entry experience
• Exposure to a high-volume processing environment
• Good interpersonal skills
• Commitment to own personal development
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, and looking for a challenge
• Passion for the role, team, and guests

Desirable

• Exposure to delegation authority policies
• 2 years Accounts Payable experience
• Demonstrate motivation, passion, and willingness to undertake actions to actively support access and inclusion to all facilities, programs, services, and employment, for all members of the community.
