ADMINISTRATION & ACCOUNTS OFFICER – FARMING OPERATIONS

We are a well-established, family owned group of companies based in Goondiwindi. We grow, process and supply quality seeds, grains, pulses, stock feeds and food products from the highly productive and premium growing regions of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced person who will be responsible for providing general Administrative and Accounts support to our Farming and Property divisions. The successful applicant, will be part of a broader, dedicated finance and administration team. Your duties will include:
- Performance of accounts and administrative duties including Accounts payable and Accounts receivable.
- Providing efficient and professional administrative support to the Farming and Property divisions including data entry, preparation of spreadsheets and filing.
- Maintaining documentation and records consistent with group policy and procedure.
- Day to day communication with suppliers and logistics operators.
- Performing other administrative duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years general experience in an accounts or a finance support role.
- Demonstrated experience in computer accounting software (MYOB an advantage).
- Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite including intermediate Excel skills.
- A high level of numerical accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Great organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A qualification or certificate in administration or accounting would be an advantage.
- Experience in a farming business will be an advantage.
