The position on offer will be part time hours Monday to Friday, approximately 25 hours per with.
Role Purpose:
As an Administration Assistant, you will work closely with the leading hand and Operations Coordinator to efficiently manage the team and the business. While the leading hand oversees fleet and operators, you will be a part of the team taking charge of customer interactions, job bookings, compliance, safety procedures and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Streamline internal operational processes for smooth administration.
- Complete administrative tasks to support the operations department.
- Foster effective communication within the business unit and operations team.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Promote and maintain a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
Requirements for Success:
- Demonstrated administration experience
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to transport and waste business functions
- Team player, capable of working in well with the existing team
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination
- Highly organised and self-sufficient in managing tasks
- Proven customer service experience
- Attentive to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks
