The Role
Due to the expansion of our taxation and accounting services arm of the firm, MGD Tax, we are seeking a highly productive and capable individual who will play an integral part within one of our Tax Advisory teams. The Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing quality service to clients and a high level of administration support to the Directors, Client Managers, Family Office Manager, and all professional staff.
Key Responsibilities
This role primarily supports the Family Office Manager with the following:
- Basic bookkeeping tasks
- Client database management
- Lodging income tax returns, activity statements, and other ATO documents
- Preparing and collating client documentation and correspondence including but not limited to PAYG letters, ATO correspondence, and financial packages
- Verbal and written communication with clients and third parties
- Scanning and filing client work
- Assisting with Directorship and invoicing administration
- Providing administration assistance for MGD Private clients
- Project work, as requested
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous administrative experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team environment
