The team at LexVeritas are working with a large national mid-tier firm, headquartered and based here in Brisbane, as we begin the search for an Administration Assistant. This role offers a great opportunity for a junior candidate with a bit of admin experience to join a thriving team where you can really settle in for the long term. This is a permanent, full-time role and will be based in their beautiful Brisbane CBD office.

Although each day is never the same, the below are a few typical tasks you will be handling:
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring that all members are informed and prepared in advance.
- Preparing legal correspondence including creating, editing, and formatting documents in line with the firm’s style guide.
- Acting as a first point of contact for clients which includes managing incoming calls, answering questions, and recording accurate messages.
- File management and maintenance which would include opening new and archiving old files (both electronic and physical).
- Monitoring and maintaining office supplies, ensuring that necessary items are stocked and ordered as needed.
- Assisting the team with accurate monthly billing and time recording, as well as other general administrative tasks.
The must-haves
If the values and role feel like a fit, skills-wise we are searching for a junior Admin Assistant with the natural ability to take initiative in their work. You would also ideally have:
- About a year of experience in an administration role (bonus points if this is in a law firm!)
- A flair for keeping on top of a busy to-do list and ensuring no task is left behind.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite, as well as a natural talent with technology.
- Confidence to build meaningful relationships with your colleagues and clients.
