We are seeking a permanent Administration Assistant, to be part of a supportive, friendly, and hardworking team. The candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills and be ready for an exciting and new challenge. This position is 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday, no weekend work.
No previous experience necessary, as all appropriate training will be provided. We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual willing to learn and develop essential administration skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- This is an entry-level role, so no previous experience is required! Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Ideal candidates should have a friendly and approachable personality, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- A strong motivation and eagerness to learn are essential.
- Candidates should have a keen eye for detail, especially when handling information and data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is necessary.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team is crucial.
- Having a driver’s license and personal transportation is highly advantageous.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of interaction for clients, handling in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Perform receptionist duties, including managing phone lines, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and communicating with clients via email.
- Undertake filing tasks, compose reports, and perform data entry.
- Ensure records are accurate and updated regularly.
- Manage digital and paper documentation.
- General office administration duties.
- Handle the receipt and dispatch of freight.
- Assist in the organisation of client projects.
