The City of Sydney's Planning Assessment Unit is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven person to work as part of our administration team.

Reporting to the Planning Assessments Support Coordinator this exciting and challenging role primary purpose is to coordinate and enter data and provide responsive and efficient administrative support with a strong focus on customer needs and continuous improvement. 

To in this role, you will:

provide a variety of administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy

think laterally as a means of sourcing accurate information quickly and effectively

maintain multiple systems to ensure appropriate storage, tracking, retrieval & exhibition of plans and documents and lodgement of applications

identify improved ways of working and keep up to date with changes in systems, legislation and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will possess demonstrated experience working in a high pressure environment as well as well-developed written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate. You will also possess a current class C driver’s license.
