Administration Assistant
Milestone Chemicals Australia supplies commercial cleaning chemicals and accessories to a broad and diverse client base. A wholly Australian owned company with in-excess of 75 years’ experience.
Milestone Chemicals Australia are looking for a highly motivated and well organised Administration Assistant to fill a full-time position at our West Heidelberg Site.
Computer skills: Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook.
Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Reconciling and posting Cash Receipts Journals.
- Raising Credit notes.
- Assisting with chasing up overdue accounts.
- Reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Running monthly customer statements.
- General administration and reception duties.
- Data Entry.
- Communication with customers regarding queries and issues with their orders and accounts, ensuring that prompt responses are given.
- Receiving and processing sales orders from customers via phone and email.
- Providing backup to other administration roles.
To be considered for this role you are required to have a demonstrated ability in the following skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Quick learner.
- Experience delivering quality customer service.
- Responding promptly to customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, confidently working as part of a team and communicating with a variety of customers.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable preferred.
