Our Administration department at Dorset Rehabilitation Centre has several vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to support the hospital's Admissions, Reception and Outpatients Admin teams.
As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a busy reception desk
- Answering and redirecting calls
- Organising appointments and preparing admission paperwork
- Conducting follow up requests and making reminder calls for visits
- Maintaining accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
- Performing Health Fund Checks
- Managing the collection of excesses/co payments
- Liaising with staff from other departments
- Completing other clerical tasks, as required, such as data entry
Dorset Rehabilitation Centre, located in Pascoe Vale, is a local rehabilitation centre with a team of experienced professionals who take care of our patients throughout their recovery journey. We are a rehabilitation hospital renowned for patient outcomes.
Selection Criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Works well independently and within a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts
- WebPas Hospital system experience - desired
- Current Police check (dated within the last 12 months) - essential
- Working with Children Check - essential
