We are seeking an experienced Area Manager who will promote and sell our tiered range of products to key wholesale partners and identify opportunities for growth within the Far North regions of Queensland. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager (Trade) QLD. The successful applicant will have demonstrated achievements in sales, strong leadership, passion and commitment to sustained performance and bottom-line growth.

What you'll do
Develop, secure and convert profitable sales opportunities for Pierlite and Philips from a defined range of strategic electrical wholesalers and electrical contractors within the Far North regions of Queensland and any other defined Regional Territory.
Own, and be accountable for a sales budget generated through both Trade and Project sales within the Far North regions of Queensland.
Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues, to ensure a consistent Signify approach to the Market.
Capture all data within the CRM framework, ensuring information is relevant, and up to date.
Be fully involved with all activities relating to the launch of new products, including planning, learning, related Company initiatives, and relevant Trade show presence. Be available to travel state-wide to assist in the launch of new Signify Products, Company initiatives, or assist in securing project opportunities.
Your qualifications
- Ideally 5 years of proven success selling to the Queensland wholesale market
- Driven, self-reliant and motivated
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong determination to achieve maximum results
- Lighting knowledge is desirable, however not essential
