We’re looking for an Asset & Warranty officer to join our Digital Field Services team to manage the ordering, inventory, and warranty management of all devices and components for IOT device and meter related programs across South East Water.
Reporting into the Metering Manager, the Assets & Warranty Officer will support the seamless deployment of devices (both analogue and digital) across the organisation by ensuring all devices and components are forecasted and ordered accurately and in accordance with service levels and budgetary requirements, allowing device availability and stock levels to be appropriately maintained.
With experience in a similar role, ideally within a water utility or comparable organisation, you understand Inventory Management Processes and Warranty Claim procedures. Ideally, you’ll have a sound understanding of the operation and metering of major residential and small commercial water systems as well as standards, procedures, and legislation applicable to the metering processes.
You’re a highly organised individual and demonstrate excellent time management skills. Your advanced MS Office Skills and high capability in utilising computer-based databases for data entry and analysis will be key in allowing you to accurately report on activities as required. Analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential for identifying improvement opportunities and coupled with your excellent communication skills, will allow you to effectively implement uplifted processes and procedures.
