Robert Half are proud to be partnered with a growing business based in the CBD to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a 6-month fixed term contract. Although this is a 6-month contract, there is a high chance this position will turn in a permanent opportunity.
Our client is well known for their friendly & inclusive culture and is extremely flexible with hours and working from home.
In this role, you will be working closely with the Finance Manager to support with transactional accounting as well as month end duties.
Duties will include:
- Accounts Payable: processing invoices, statement reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable: raising invoices, assisting with collection, dealing with queries
- Credit card reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Accruals & prepayments
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in the completion of monthly BAS statements
Your profile:
- 3+ years experience in a similar position and keen to further develop your skills
- Studying CA/CPA (not essential)
- Team player
- Good communicate skills
