About the Role:
EST Clinic is seeking a full time / part time receptionist, fluent in Mandarin and English with a passion for customer service and client care.
The applicant must have excellent presentation and communication skills and be great at multitasking and working in an often-busy environment. A desire or passion for all things beauty, aesthetics, cosmetics and skin will make this applicant an appealing candidate for this role!
As the first point of contact for this high-end Cosmetic Clinic, you will naturally make patients feel welcome upon entry with your friendly, confident, and sympathetic demeanour. You are someone who enjoys working in a team environment but strives independently when challenged during a busy consulting session.
Pre-requisite: Bilingual in Mandarin/English and experience in customer services
Remuneration: Hourly rate + Superannuation dependent on experience.
Working Time: Full time/ Part time, MUST be available on Saturdays.
Start Date: Immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome and assist clients upon arrival, updating their information as necessary.
- Efficiently manage client inquiries, appointment scheduling, and handle phone calls with professionalism.
- Address client complaints or concerns courteously, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when required.
- Maintain an organised appointment book to ensure optimal scheduling and coordinate with healthcare professionals to accommodate client preferences.
- Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and doctors to meet both client needs and sales targets.
- Ensure the reception area is consistently clean, organised, and visually appealing.
- Effectively multitask and prioritise responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods.
- Stay updated on skincare products, treatments, and services offered by the clinic.
- Maintain a consistently professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
- Proactively tackle challenges that may arise, including scheduling conflicts or client issues, by collaborating with colleagues to find swift and effective solutions.
Administrative tasks such as:
- Manage and organise client record
- Handle paperwork related to forms and photos taken etc.
- Assisting managers and clinicians when necessary
- Answering and returning phone calls
- Booking appointments for clients
- Reply emails and messages
Desirable skills and experience:
- Minimum of 1-year Cosmetic Clinic Receptionist experience and high computer and literacy skills.
- A passion for customer service.
- Interest in the cosmetic and skincare industry with a desire to promote and maintain existing client relationships.
- A genuine desire to provide high quality service to the doctors, clinicians and clients.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A professional attitude and exceptional presentation
- Be a dynamic and quick learner
- Have Full Australian working rights
Additional requirements:
- Primary condition: fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or sales
- Have a strong interest and/or previous experience in cosmetics, aesthetics, beauty/skin care.
- Has a high standard and takes pride in one's presentation.
