The 12 month fixed term contract means you are on a p/a salary and have the ability to accrue sick leave and annual leave. After the 12 month fixed term contract there is a possibility for the role to be extended or to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the transactions associated with accounts payable and receivable function of allocated entities
Proactively entering, preparing and processing cash book journals of allocated entities, which includes (but not limited to) settlement receipts, loan repayments and miscellaneous direct credits/debits
Preparing the bank reconciliations of allocated entities
Responsible for fixed asset entries (additions and disposals) of allocated entities
Contributing to the year-end audit documentation preparation of allocated entities
Prepare and contribute to the monthly and quarterly BAS return working papers for allocated entities
Key Requirements:
Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting is preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position with the ability to understand and apply general accounting concepts
High degree of accuracy
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX would be highly regarded
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate effective communication with the ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships
