As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. 

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using our accounting software.
• Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

Payroll Administration:

• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain employee records related to payroll and benefits.

Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and file relevant tax returns in accordance with Australian tax regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.

Financial Reporting:

• Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certification or degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
