Business Development Consultant

As a member of the Bayley House team, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Business Development Consultant will support the implementation of the strategy to establish and develop a new national initiative to promote inclusion and diversity for people with disabilities.

Bayley House has acquired the rights to distribute and promote the internationally renowned Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program in Australia and New Zealand. A Program that stands to make a significant impact to those living with a disability. The role of Hidden Disabilities’ Business Development Consultant will help to champion the growth of the business.

The Business Development Consultant will establish new relationships in both the public and private sectors to secure new subscribed memberships for Hidden Disabilities and the purchase of Sunflower products. Reporting to the Head of Business Development Aus/NZ the appointee will be responsible for supporting the growth and success of the sales pipeline and ensuring client satisfaction and successful onboarding.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Scouting new opportunities across business networks, socials, and conferences, expos, networking functions, etc.
• Managing communications with stakeholders
• Assessing business requirements, establish costing, and formulating quotes.
• Support setting up new accounts and subscriptions in the online sales portal and manage initial stock orders. 
• Effective and efficient handover of new sales to account management for ongoing support.

It would be great if you could demonstrate some or all of the following:

• 3+ Years' experience in a Sales role with a track record of working to exceed targets. 
• NFP experience, with a passion and awareness for Disability 
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
• A demonstrated history of researching and developing new client pipelines and closing deals.
• Strong levels of commercial acumen, recognising and seizing opportunities to improve the commercial viability of an organisation
• Outstanding presentation skills along with excellent writing skills and technical aptitude
