Job description

Be part of a new and growing business in health care recruitment and specialist services in the Newcastle area.

As a Business Development Manager for our client, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the client base and driving sales within the healthcare sector, focused on aged care. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our clients in the dynamic healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and trends within the healthcare sector.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to formulate effective sales strategies.
Client Acquisition:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and enhance our client portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry.
Sales Strategy Development:
  • Devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop pricing strategies aligned with market trends and client objectives.
Proposal and Presentation:
  • Prepare compelling and tailored proposals and presentations, tenders, and grants highlighting our client's services and unique value proposition.
  • Conduct presentations for potential clients and engage in negotiations to secure new business.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and sustain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and superior service delivery.
  • Address client concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to understand client needs and ensure successful candidate placements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize service delivery and exceed client expectations.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
  • Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make informed, data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, preferably in the recruitment or healthcare industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare sector and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Tender and grant writing experience is highly desirable
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
