About You
You’ll be an experienced Business Development Manager with at least 2 years direct selling and Business Development experience in the packaging industry. You’ll have a self starter attitude, have a solid work ethic that enables you to work with a high degree of autonomy and the drive to continuously prospect, leveraging off your newly acquired customer base and developing new business leads.
Your Skills and Attributes
- You must have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in sales
- Exposure to packaging consumable products such as Stretch Films, Pallet Wraps, tape etc.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities
- Demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Exposure to quoting and tendering would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An average knowledge of computing, (Outlook, Excel, Word, Inventory management systems)
- Competent with measuring and offering solutions to customers
- To be able to work independently post the initial induction period
