At such an exciting time at Nextt, we have a rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager based in Darlinghurst, who will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and Business Development in the Greater Sydney region. This is a full-time hybrid role with attractive sales incentives and allowances.
A key focus of your role is growth and sustainability within the competitive Sydney market across core sales and Supported Independent Living. You’ll achieve this by setting and monitoring strategic revenue targets and establishing valuable relationships with external referral pathways. You’ll be target driven, passionate, and commercially savvy with an entrepreneurial mindset.

As the BDM, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve NDIS sales targets and business growth. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and effective closing of sales.
- Work in partnership with the Senior Manager of Client Experience to ensure effective regional growth planning that accounts for an understanding of the client’s needs, workforce planning and delivery in a complex funding environment.
- Identify areas for operational efficiency and implement process improvements to steam line service delivery, reduce costs and enhance the client experience.
- To monitor and influence high value client retention through support to SME for direct intervention, management of client satisfaction and development of retention strategies where relevant.
- Increase Nextt’s brand awareness on a national scale, developing a network of business relationships and referrals to meet and exceed growth targets.
- Have a strong sales background and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Development, with evidence of achieving revenue targets.
- Have operations experience. You'll work closely with the Senior Manager Client Experience with their growth targets, understanding operations and processes is key for success.
- Be system and data-savvy, with experience in providing detailed analytics and metrics to provide business cases that factor in forecasts and trends.
- Have experience in managing successful portfolios, evidenced by meeting and exceeding business KPIs and revenue targets.
- NDIS / Aged Care / Healthcare or similar industry experience is essential!
- Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with partners and referral sources, seeing consistent growth and longevity in partnerships.
- Be an effective project manager with experience in managing and executing assigned projects on time.
- Tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing preferred.
