Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager at Simple Sample Australia, you will be a key player in expanding our market reach, driving revenue growth, and building lasting relationships with building material suppliers in Australia. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success while working in a fast-paced and collaborative startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
.Sales Strategy and Execution:

• Develop and implement a sales strategy that works for you to achieve revenue targets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and market analysis.

• Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to drive new business.

.Supplier Acquisition:

• Research to identify potential clients and industry trends to optimise sales pitches to prospective clients

• Generate leads and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure.

.Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients and partners.

• Negotiate terms and agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes for all parties involved.

.Sales Reporting and Analysis:

• Track and analyze sales performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategy refinement.

• Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team on sales progress.

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in Business Development and sales, preferably within a startup environment. Experience in the building and construction industry and existing contacts is highly valued.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
