Job Description
About Role:
The Novitatech Business Development Manager (BDM) is accountable for developing strong business relationships in the disability, aged care, and hospital market. The BDM will be responsible for promoting the Novita Tech retail brand and complex assistive technology value proposition and driving revenue growth in the government, hospital, aged care and other relevant markets.
Two positions available on Full time basis based at NovitaTech retail store at Manton Street, Hindmarsh reporting to Head of Retail and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate a growth strategy focused on financial gains and participant satisfaction.
- Establish robust connects with key stakeholders in the Disability sector, such as hospitals, mental heal units, support coordinators and the National Disability Insurance Scheme is essential. This collaborative approach aims to increase growth at NovitaTech.
- Driving NovitaTech retail customer growth and revenue while achieving high levels of satisfaction amongst customers, referrers, and the supply chain.
- Building external partnerships and relationships with Clinicians, NDIS support coordinators, Aged Care and hospital procurement, DHS to drive sales and referrals and contribute to the achievement of business goals.
- Building NovitaTech's brand as a trusted AT advisor, problems solver and technical expert.
- Schedule and conduct business meetings with all potential participants.
- Expand the participant base through proactive participation in networking events, prospect research, cold-calling, lead follow-up, generating leads and working with the Novita Marketing team.
- Conducting Business development activities to increase Novita programs within the local community and other potential locations.
- Contribute to overall business unit financial performance, budgeting and expenditure.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with Novita's policies, procedures and ethical standards
About You
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to business management, product development, sales, sales management, or marketing.
- Experience in Product and equipment sales is highly desirable.
- Successful track record in complex operational management with the capacity to plan, prioritise and delegate.
- Complex problem-solving skills, strong AT technical skills, and the ability to provide hands on solutions.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and drive.
- Successful track record in introducing new product offerings in a competitive market.
- Strong knowledge of the disability marketplace.
- Sound Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and its application to providers and customers.
- Valid driving license and willingness to use own vehicle for travel.
- NDIS worker screening, DHS Working with Children and Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Fully vaccinated from COVID-19 (Novita mandate)
