About the role:
As the Business Development Manager at Asta, you will be instrumental in spearheading the expansion of our Sydney operations by adeptly recognising and leveraging emerging business prospects. You will be involved in:
- Conducting proactive prospecting and appointment setting with key decision-makers within strategically aligned organisations and target customer segments.
- Facilitating initial introductory and qualification meetings to establish a solid foundation with prospective customers.
- Cultivating robust relationships with clients to continually expand and nurture the sales pipeline.
- Collaborating seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders to drive the successful closure of deals.
- Playing a pivotal role in preparing and delivering compelling solutions and proposals to meet the unique needs of our customers.
- Engaging in close collaboration with the Marketing team to provide support for campaigns and events, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Responsively handling inbound leads to capitalise on immediate opportunities and drive customer engagement.
- Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records and notes in our CRM system, ensuring a comprehensive view of customer interactions.
- Partnering effectively with Account Managers during the client relationship handover and transition post-contract signing.
- Consistently exceeding quarterly recurring revenue sales targets through a proactive and strategic approach.
- Branch management responsibilities
To thrive in this role, you will need to have:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at fostering robust relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Formidable problem-solving and negotiation abilities, showcasing a talent for navigating complex scenarios and reaching mutually beneficial agreements.
- Proven and seasoned BDM with a comfort level in actively prospecting and acquiring new customers, coupled with the capability to articulate the compelling value propositions inherent in our service offerings.
- A noteworthy track record of over 5 years of successful experience within the dynamic landscape of the IT industry.
- Strong business acumen, proficient in orchestrating impactful client meetings, adept in business writing, and articulate in verbal communication.
