The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced self-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic and vibrant team in the exciting role of finding and creating key client accounts.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business and utilize your strong Business Development Management skills. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Researching, Identifying, and reaching out to primarily new customers, and ensuring their success in utilizing our products. By building strong relationships with clients and internal team members, you will effectively address any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • To establish ongoing business relationships with new targeted customers
  • Research and identify tangible and relevant market opportunities and projects,
  • Telecall potential customers to raise awareness of DomeShelter Australia’s capabilities
  • Meet and great formally and informally/arrange the event
  • Attend arranged events with the ability to introduce DomeShelter Australia.
  • Develop and maintain long-standing client relationships,
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions promptly.
  • Introduce the DomeShelter™ team and be involved throughout the sale process as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outbound calls and arranging meetings with key decision-makers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a client-facing role
  • Strong presentation skills in video calls (Loom / Zoom / MS Teams)
  • Well-organized, and process-oriented, with strong follow-up skills

  • Client-focused with an adaptable mentality
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ask the right questions and actively listen and take detailed notes.
  • Evidence of sound sales and business acumen, coupled with a strong commercial focus and customer-first mentality
  • Demonstrate resilience in the face of setbacks and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Hungry for success and to win
  • Experience in the Construction related industry and terminology
  • Willingness and ability to travel on the eastern seaboard, as required or requested by the client.
  • Proactive in learning and training
