About the Role
My client is a Brisbane-based project marketing firm known for their creativity and innovation. Due to their continued success, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to increase local market engagement, build and execute a comprehensive strategy and drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities -
- Develop and execute BD strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify and build new channel partners while fostering strong relationships with existing partners
- Provide product training and support to new partners to enable effective solution selling
- Prepare reports and analysis to assist with business plans and sales strategies
- Keep abreast of market conditions and identify emerging industry trends
- Plan and attend project launches and industry events to establish a strong market position

About You
You are a talented and results driven professional with in-depth knowledge of the Brisbane project marketing industry and a strong track record of achieving sales targets through channel partners. You are driven by success and have a natural aptitude for building long-lasting client relationships.
You will have -
- Demonstrated experience in channel sales or BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ideally within the project marketing industry
- Existing local industry relationships and the ability to identify new potential channel partners
- Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills
- An ability to think strategically and out-of-the-box to remain competitive
- Sound working knowledge of CRM systems
- A proactive and results driven work ethic
