Role Description
The Business Development Manager for Big Bag Recovery will report directly to the General Manager and play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our organisation, ensuring the smooth functioning of our program. The position will be responsible for handling various tasks, including managing enquiries, onboarding new members, facilitating license agreements and representing the organisation at seminars and events.
Key Responsibilities
Member Onboarding and Management
▪ Manage the onboarding process for new program members (brands), ensuring a smooth efficient transition. This includes but is not limited to:
o Member access to the Big Bag Recovery dashboard
o Dashboard training
o Provide orientation regarding program guidelines and expectations.
▪ Manage and retain relationships with new and existing members.
▪ Drive member engagement through face to face opportunities that highlight the value to Big Bag Recovery and champion their involvement.
▪ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and engagement.
Enquiry | Sales
▪ Respond to phone calls and emails promptly, addressing enquiries and providing relevant information.
▪ Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and expand member base.
▪ Manage and maintain accurate and complete CRM data to support robust reporting and analysis.
▪ Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities.
▪ Deliver program presentation to showcase the value of our stewardship program.
Event and Seminar Participation
▪ Represent Big Bag Recovery at seminars, conferences and events as required.
▪ Network with industry professionals and stay informed about relevant developments in the resource recovery industry.
Administrative Tasks
▪ Perform various administrative duties, including data entry, report generation and document management.
▪ Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.
Qualifications
▪ Proven experience in a program coordination, memberships services or related role
▪ Recent and demonstratedB2B sales experience
▪ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
▪ Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
▪ CRM software experience (preferably Hubspot)
