Due to recent expansion, the company is actively searching for a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to offer continuous support to VIC Brokers & Aggregators and stimulate growth across their portfolio. The Role…
Reporting to the Head of Sales, your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying fresh business opportunities across consumer and commercial lending within the VIC portfolio of brokers and aggregators.
- Establishing and maintaining enduring relationships with clients, prospective clients, and industry partners.
- Formulating comprehensive growth strategies and plans to achieve objectives and quotas.
- Generating new leads via Business Development, referrals and nurturing these leads to fruition.
- Negotiating terms with clients and partners and finalizing mutually beneficial deals.
- Developing a profound understanding of the company’s products or services and effectively explaining how they can solve problems or enhance clients’ businesses.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure alignment and cohesive strategies.
- Meeting 4-5 clients per week and attending network and personal development events.
To excel in this role, you will be someone who wants to own their own area and make it thrive by:
- Ideally you will have 2 years of experience in a Business Development capacity within the asset finance sector.
- Experience in the automotive sector is a plus but not essential.
- Leveraging from established relationships within the introducer market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine desire to build, foster and maintain relationship with brokers and aggregators across consumer and commercial lending.
