The Role
You will focus on developing strong working relationships with both existing and new customers across the mining, building, construction, infrastructure and transport industries within WA. With a combination of account management and new Business Development, you will identify, progress and close opportunities for new hire and sale of shipping containers. Key day to day responsibilities will include:
- Actively explore new market opportunities and seek to secure new business by undertaking face-to-face customer site visits
- Track and assign projects via BCI within CRM
- Provide timely and accurate data to the Sales Support Officer for inclusion in the Pipeline.
- Maintain relationships with managed account list, ensuring regular contact, site visits, quote, and account follow-up.
- Provide timely and accurate quotes for all products and services in line with company pricing guidelines
- Participate in various industry events to build network.
About You
Success in this role will come ideally from 3 years demonstrated experience in a proactive sales position with a strong B2B focus, ideally in the mining, construction, building or infrastructure sectors. You will be comfortable undertaking both account management and new BD, with strong influencing and negotiation capability.
