About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team based in Sydney, NSW.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in specification sales, with additional experience in dealer/channel sales. While industry-specific experience is preferred, we believe that the skills and knowledge required for success in this role can be transferable across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for product specification with architects, designers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Cultivate relationships with dealers and channel partners to increase distribution and sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform business strategy.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

About You:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in specification
  • Additional 3-5 years of experience in dealer/channel sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
