WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Do you have an enviable reputation as being a high performing sales professional in the FMCG channel? Do you have strong existing relationships across multiple channels including Butchers, BBQ Retailers, and Independent Grocery….and do you have a passion for food?

In this newly created role of NSW Business Development Representative, you will be reporting directly to the National Sales Manager you will be required to develop strong relationships with our existing customers and seek out new opportunities to grow through ranging of Lanes products in core channels we operate but also emerging growth channels. The successful candidate will be based in Sydney however will be responsible for managing all customers in NSW and be required to work autonomously with our head office being located in Brisbane.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Effectively Plan and coordinate territory coverage
- Generate new business acquisitions locally, interstate, and internationally.
- Leverage existing relationships to gain incremental distributions and opportunities at store level.
- Deliver defined targets and outcomes for both new business and growth in existing accounts.
- Effectively execute sales strategies in a manner that is aligned with Lanes BBQ core values.
- Executional excellence in-store merchandising, audits, and promotional execution.
- Nurture strong customer relationships across channels and key stake holders.
- Have a single minded focus on Lanes BBQ Brand to out perform the market.
- Advocate for promotional opportunities like instore cooking demonstrations, events, and festivals.
- Disciplined record keeping and attention to detail with reporting.
- Strong planning and communication skills.
- Previous experience in key customer leadership and people leadership.
- Sound computer skills & CRM use would be an advantageous.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
