Volt Power Group Limited (ASX: VPR) is an industrial technology company that develops and commercialises ESG focused zero emission power and hydrogen technologies and next-generation mining equipment solutions. The Company’s businesses develop and commercialise innovative proprietary OEM equipment delivering “step change” client productivity & cost benefits and reduced Scope 1 emissions.
This role has specific responsibilities for the EcoQuip business Unit which manufactures and sells Australian designed mobile solar light & communications towers incorporating US military spec build quality, superior illumination performance and advanced OEM power management, data & remote-control telemetry.
Primary Accountabilities
- Generating new sales and deployable business opportunities for the EcoQuip business unit
- Drive EcoQuip sales revenue growth to exceed budget targets and find ways to accelerate sales growth across hard and soft rock mine sites, and with the major hydrocarbons firms.
- Build, develop and fortify relationships with key customer stakeholders including minesite decision makers, and senior procurement influencers
- Creating additional shareholder value by improving EcoQuip market penetration - initially in Australia, but in the medium term assisting in African and North American resource sector markets.
- Work closely with the Chairman and EcoQuip General Manager to ensure EcoQuip Business Development and sales execution aligns with Volt Power Group strategies
- Assist in developing comprehensive business model alternatives, marketing and socials strategy, policy and plan execution for EcoQuip.
- Manage and negotiate EcoQuip commercial / contract arrangements with current clients, and negotiate to ensure these agreements optimise return on capital and are within commercial risk allocation policy parameters.
- Help drive and perform due diligence potential acquisition opportunities as required.
Key Attributes
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the equipment supply and hire industry particularly for key mining and hydrocarbons clients
- Knowledge of mining, oil & gas, infrastructure and event management markets and how to best utilise the marketing spend
- Experience developing and implementing client relationship management plans with a view to increasing sales growth across the EcoQuip business
- Commercial management experience and knowledge of budget and capital expenditure processes
- Significant recent experience developing and executing commercially beneficial contractual arrangements with key clients and stakeholders
- Some exposure to the creation and management of promotional material including website, hard copy materials and social media.
Qualifications
Relevant industry background or appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Sales & Marketing or Engineering
