Business Manager

This hire is crucial for the firm's ongoing success and growth in the market, supported by the Partner group. With an established client base, the ideal candidate will need a solid background in Business Management to seamlessly integrate and add value to the firm's clients.

Responsibilities:

• Providing compliance and advisory services to High-Net-Worth Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, and Trusts.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supervising and delegating tasks to junior team members as required.

Requirements:

• 6+ years accounting experience
• CA/CPA qualified or similar
• Previous Business Manager and leadership experience
• Be competent in all elements of compliance for high-net-worth business and family groups, including:
• Experience with management of a general ledger, including posting month end journals (depreciation, pre-payments and chattel mortgage interest)
• Experience in or exposure to consulting/advisory services such as budget preparation, management reporting and external CFO services.

Software Experience:

To be proficient in the following software products would be advantageous:

• Xero Practice Manager (XPM)
• Business Fitness Workpapers - Advantageous, but not essential
• BGL Systems (CAS360) - Advantageous, but not essential
• SuiteFiles Document Management System
• Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
