The Opportunity
At Shine Lawyers, we champion better justice for our clients. And as a Client Service Officer in our Brisbane CBD team, that starts with you. Working up to 22.8 hours per week, across a casual, Monday to Wednesday roster, you’ll be the first person our clients speak with, making a meaningful, long-lasting impact every day - for the people we support, our legal teams and the entire firm.
With empathy, adaptability and initiative, you will be a true champion of our clients by:
- Responding to inbound calls and other communications.
- Cultivating strong relationships and trust through empathy and understanding, interpreting client needs and connecting them with the right legal team members.
- Answering questions, obtaining and recording accurate information, and identifying and qualifying needs for potential claims.
- Supporting the New Client Team with administrative tasks and optimising the use of internal systems to process information.
- Applying your keen eye to spot opportunities for improvement so that we can stay ahead of the pack and deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Previous experience working within a customer service, or call centre background is a plus, however not essential for success.
- We truly care for our clients and you will, too. You’ll be comfortable and capable of creating a safe environment for them to communicate their concerns and needs.
- You’ll be naturally empathetic and have a resolute passion for helping people, especially those who may be experiencing trauma.
- You’ll recognise and value the importance of your role in being the gateway to support for clients.
- You'll have the availability to work up to 22.8 hours per week across Monday to Wednesday.
