We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Ferny Hills. The role will provide excellent customer service to our patients and professional administrative support to our Podiatrists. We are offering 10-20 hours per week on a flexible Monday to Friday roster with some evenings until 7pm. If you have previous experience in a fast paced, allied health environment we want to hear from you!
The role:
- greeting patients, billing and booking appointments
- answering and making phone calls and replying to email enquiries
- administration of doctor's referrals
- reprocessing/sterilising clinical instruments (we can train you)
- general cleaning
The skills required:
- superior customer service skills in a medical or allied health environment
- the ability to convert enquiries to bookings
- attention to detail with numbers and written language
- an ability to follow instructions and procedures with minimal supervision
- a good understanding of technology including Microsoft office and email
- a good understanding of Health funds, Medicare and DVA billing
- a knowledge of Cliniko practice management software would be an advantage, but not essential
Please note: The ability to obtain a National Police certificate and a Working with Children (Blue card) is essential.
The hourly rate of pay will be determined by the pay schedule in MA000027 (Health Professionals and Support Services Award).
