The Role & The Team
The Change Manager is a key member of our Strategy Implementation & Change team and is responsible for developing a positive change culture within Adica. They are hands-on in change management activities and engage the business in a way which is supportive, energetic, creative, and passionate about curating a positive change experience. They are empathetic in the sense they understand the change journey can be difficult and work with the business to develop strategies to overcome any resistance and create plans to optimise change implementation and adoption.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity that may have the potential to become permanent.
This opportunity will see you:
- Manage change management activities and provide hands-on support to the business to guide them through the change implementation journey and ensure they are adequately engaged throughout.
- Development of communications, training and engagement plans, impact assessments, risk management and other material which assist and support change activities.
- Apply best change management principles and practices in line with Adica’s Change Management Framework creating and managing strategies to deliver change from inception to transition.
- Promote a positive change culture throughout the organisation with emphasis on the importance of change management and how it benefits the organisation.
- Build excitement towards change through celebrating milestones, successes and addressing areas of change resistance.
- Working closely with stakeholders to address concerns, overcome obstacles, and foster a culture of openness and adaptability.
Your Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with managers and employees to implement organisational change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a pro-active approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (particularly written) including the ability to prepare high quality change plans and documentation including written reports, policies, action plans, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated capacity to act independently within established guidelines, using discretion and sound judgement.
- Qualifications in Change Management, Project Management, Business or other related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of Change Management principles and standards.
- Extensive experience in the application of Change Management methodology.
- Demonstrated experience of managing change in complex environments.
- Strong senior stakeholder engagement and management.
- Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access & Outlook) – Intermediate.
- Previous experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industries will be highly regarded.
