An exciting career opportunity exists for a Chef de Partie to join our team at the Peninsula Hot Springs in a full time position. This role will be responsible for efficiently and effectively preparing and presenting menu items with variety and flair, while meeting the high standards of our guests, all under the direction and instruction of our Executive Chef. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000
You will also be responsible for:
- Strict management of stock rotation and control;
- Liaising with front of house team members regarding the availability of items, additions and relevant changes to the menu;
- Providing assistance with ordering of food items;
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area;
- Ensuring all equipment is appropriately maintained and cleaned;
- Accurately and timely completion of all tasks, as per service requirements.

- Flexible with day and evening shifts during the week and on weekends.
The successful candidate will have:
- Cert IV in commercial cookery
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a qualified chef role
- Solid background in one of the following: bistro, restaurants or functions
