The Role
The Commercial Manager is responsible for managing landscape projects both quoted, won and handed over. Oversee the operations of the business and ensure the company is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible and managing the staff to achieve the company's goals.
As a Commercial Manager

- Generate Profit: Ensure the landscape division is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible and managing your team to ensure progression
- Consistency: Build, maintain and improve processes to ensure consistency in business pipeline

Responsibilities
- Successfully managing your team. Ensure we have the right people, in the right place, doing the right thing
- Managing the worklog (pipeline of work) to ensure all works are being done efficiently and effectively
- Build relationships with current and future clients
- Understand and pursue our target project funnel
- Managing and contributing to the Company Brand and Culture
- Build and maintain and sustainable procurement function
- Continuous management, assessment and improvement of company processes and systems
- Strategic planning with management
To be successful you will ideally have the following experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Experience in a similar position in Landscaping and Building
- Competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and cost reporting software.
- Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
- Excellent client management skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent cost control and reporting skills
- Proactive “can-do” attitude is essential
