We are looking for a part-time Community Engagement Advisor to join our Community Engagement and Insights team. The Community Engagement Advisor works closely with the Engagement and Insights team and relevant business units to deliver innovative and inclusive Community Engagement programs.
Your advice and support will adhere to best practices under the IAP2 framework, ensuring compliance with Council's Community Engagement Policy. Reporting directly to the Coordinator Engagement and Insights, you will play a pivotal role in implementing best-practice Community Engagement programs that align with and support the delivery of Council strategies, business plans, and objectives.

About you
You will be a proactive, efficient, and team-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills, confident in your technical skills and ability to build and support the growth of our “Have Your Say” Community Engagement platform. You will have a passion for people and enjoy connecting, networking, engaging with diverse groups and stakeholders.
Other requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline plus relevant experience OR less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience
- Experience in Community Engagement, including planning, implementation and evaluation
- Familiarity with digital platforms and social media for engagement activities
- Technical skills to build engagement plans on Community Engagement platforms
- Comfortable with Microsoft Suite for data analysis and reporting
- IAP2 informed and experience in empowering and consulting with the community
- Previous account management and advising experience
