Responsibilities:
As a Contract Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of progress claims, variations, and requests for information;
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with local council and private asset owners (QUU, SEQ, APA, etc.);
- Tender preparation, including quote requests, tender forms, program development, and checking of quantities and pricing;
- Cost analysis and cost monitoring;
- Assisting the Project Manager with QA (Quality Assurance), safety, and environmental management;
- Sourcing materials and subcontractors;
- Attending site inspections and meetings with relevant authorities.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or tertiary qualifications;
- Minimum of one year of experience in the civil construction industry;
- Manual driving license and willingness to travel onsite for site visits in the SEQ region;
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project;
- Knowledge and experience in Residential & Industrial Subdivision and Council Infrastructure projects is highly desirable;
- Experience with TMR (Transport and Main Roads) projects is a plus.
