Conveyancing Lawyer (1-2y PAE)
Leora Rose Law is a boutique commercial law firm located on the Gold Coast, with practice areas in business & commercial, entertainment & sport, intellectual property, construction and property law.
We are looking for a full-time Conveyancing Lawyer with 1-2 years PAE to join our fast paced and growing property practice area. Working under minimum supervision, you will be responsible for running residential and commercial conveyancing matters from start to finish.
Role requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in conveyancing. Experience in Wills and Estates a bonus;
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and critical dates;
- Exceptional and professional interpersonal communication skills;
- Strong willingness to go above and beyond to produce positive results for clients;
- Experience with PEXA;
- Experience with OSR Online is highly regarded;
- Must be experienced in Queensland Revenue Office in-house stamping; and
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Key responsibilities:
- A-Z residential and off-the-plan conveyancing in Queensland and New South Wales;
- First point of contact for clients;
- Advising clients on contractual requirements for the sale and purchase of real estate;
- Managing conveyancing matters autonomously from start to settlement;
- Preparing documents and correspondence, including Contracts of Sale;
- Critical dates management;
- Liaising with clients and professionals at all levels including other solicitors, real estate agents, mortgage brokers and banks;
- Creating and maintaining client files;
- Ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships; and
- A reliable team player.
