Coordinator Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) – Yandicoogina

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to take on the role of Coordinator MEM at our Yandicoogina operations.

Reporting to the Superintendent MEM, you will undertake a range of support activities to enable the safe and efficient execution of planned and breakdown maintenance, in the MEM team. This role represents a direct development pathway into frontline leadership.

Working in this collaborative, challenging and exciting environment, your day to day remit will include but not be limited to:

  • Allocating tasks to crew members at the commencement of the shift in accordance to the daily plan, and throughout the shift in response to changes to work priorities
  • Ensuring shift members and contractors understand and comply with HSE working procedures
  • Role modelling respectful behaviours in line with our values of Care, Courage and Curiosity
  • Assisting in identify training and development needs for team members and provide feedback to the Supervisor
  • Recommending changes to the Supervisor that impact the production of the shift; address to negate problems, or capitalize on opportunities, and carry out those changes once approved
  • Undertaking acting duties when the Supervisor is absent and liaising with other departments in a professional manner

What you’ll bring

  • A current driver’s license
  • A trade certificate or engineering qualifications are preferable
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Apply critical thinking and complex problem solving skills
  • Work management experience
  • Proficiency in SAP (desirable)
  • Working knowledge Heavy Mobile Earthmoving Maintenance Systems
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi HME equipment
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Solid communication skills and comfortable liaising with various stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated and able to demonstrate a history of continuous improvement
  • Previous experience in a shutdown execution / coordination environment
