Malek Fahd Islamic School Ltd (MFIS) is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Muslim School with more than 3000 students across three campuses in the Sydney suburbs of Greenacre, Beaumont Hills, and Hoxton Park.

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic, dynamic and suitably qualified Creative Arts Teacher to join our vibrant team to teach Years 7 to 10 Curriculum who will be sympathetic to the philosophy of education in our Islamic School.
As a secondary teacher, your subject allocation may extend beyond CAPA based on the requirements of the campus. The subjects you teach could vary according to the specific needs of the campus.

Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach in NSW with an emphasis on high-quality teaching and learning practices.
- Understanding of the CAPA curriculum and the academic needs of students.
- Demonstrates and displays an understanding of the Islamic ethos of the school, supporting the school’s philosophy, values, beliefs, and mission whilst contributing to a caring and supportive environment for all students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to embed the MFIS vision and educational philosophy effectively, resulting in successful outcomes for all learners.
- Ability to differentiate teaching that enhances student outcomes.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a friendly, professional and cooperative manner with students and colleagues.
- Development and implementation of appropriate, quality assessment tasks and assessment schedules.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with parents and carers to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
